An Intentionally Inclusive Larp
Always wanted to larp but need to limit your physical activity? Used to larp, but a full weekend commitment isn’t realistic with your other obligations?
We welcome you as you are — and we’ll work with you on accommodations so you can join in. Barley Keep is designed to be as accessible as possible: physical challenges are optional and we aim to be fully wheelchair accessible. We keep time commitments short (single-day friendly) and run events 10:00 AM–6:00 PM to help with travel and family schedules. Math is simplified—you only track one stat, Inspiration, which covers breath and mental effort; spend it to act or heal, and you regain some at 2:00 PM and through certain activities and skills. Our Core Rulebook is small and easy to learn, with optional supplements if you want to dive deeper. If you have specific needs, tell us and we’ll make it work.
We are LGBTQ+ friendly, consent-forward, and do not tolerate discrimination of any kind.
